Salim Alkan was born in Yozgat, 1955. 1980 - 1988 and 1995 - 2003 between the years he was social studies teacher. He graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Architecture in 1988. He has worked at Ortek Ä°nÅŸaat between the years 1989 - 1990. He founded the Doku architectural office in 1990 in Ankara. Since 2004, he has been working together with his son architects Ahmet Alkan in Ä°zmir.

Ahmet Alkan was born in Ankara, 1979. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Architecture in 2005. He has worked at M+D Mimarlık between the years 2003 - 2007. Since 2004, he has been working together with architects Salim Alkan in İzmir.
